Symbols
STELLINA introduces innovative symbols and concepts that guide us through the lessons of the story.
The Hourglass:
The hourglass first appeared in my drawings in my travel notes in 1983, and then manifested itself a year later to illustrate my book on DAS. DAS, the Neutral, the unclassifiable, represents the Spirit that animates each of our lives.
STELLINA also exists within an hourglass. Initially in its ethereal upper part, it then traverses the center, which corresponds to the Sun/Heart of the individual, before arriving on Earth (the lower part).
The hourglass encapsulates the magic of birth and rebirth, the different stages of life, and our ability to flow anew into a fresh existence. Children are fascinated by it because they intuitively grasp the flow of eternal time and recognize the power they hold in their hands to begin anew.
The Sun - The Heart:
When I discovered, by traversing the Sun, that my heart was breathing better, I proposed this quantum leap to my students. Indeed, by imagining lightening the Heart of daily worries, it is enough to project it to the center of the hourglass by the Sun to access the entire Energy of the Universe.
STELLINA must also pass through the Sun/Heart to arrive on Earth. This act often requires courage, both in descending and ascending, as it represents a boundary between the visible and the invisible. It is by transcending limits and stepping beyond one’s comfort zone that personal growth manifests. Moreover, traversing the heart to bring forth a new sound is an act of pure love.
The Open Heart - The parents:
In the STELLINA libretto, we notice the presence of two hearts: one central heart, which serves as the sun, the focal point of the hourglass. The other is on Earth, formed by two people – the parents – who create it. They desire STELLINA (a new life) so fervently that as soon as they see her, they wish to possess her completely. At this point, it is crucial to respect the Divine Laws:
STELLINA, in a fleeting moment, leaves only a part of herself in the human heart and ascends to the universe, remaining connected to it through a spiritual umbilical cord. An imperative message to parents is to honor this bond and not sever it, as many do, in their quest for complete possession of their children.
By doing so, they would generate the very illness that causes their child to wither without spiritual roots. When STELLINA remains with only a part of herself on Earth, a longing for the six missing parts automatically arises.
This longing is balanced by friendships and brotherhoods that unite with the individual throughout life. If we pay attention, we find that there are only a few soul friends who truly make us feel at home in the world. This, for me, represents the Cosmic Family.
The Sea:
When STELLINA arrives on Earth, she lands in the sea, rejoicing in her magical and welcoming spirit. In this context, the sea represents the womb, the amniotic fluid connected to the Universe.
Not coincidentally, the sea has the power to calm our souls. Its constant and infinite rhythm allows us to transcend into unknown realms that nourish our essence.
Thus, life emerges from the sea in a perpetual renewal.
According to my son’s intuition, the sea is the place of New Life. Indeed, all the rays of the Sun must pass through it to be reborn.
