The Libretto

The STELLINA Libretto was envisioned during the early years of my son’s childhood and was first presented                                                                                                                                                                                      at the Lenbachhaus Museum in Munich in 1995.

Story Summary:

In the beginning, Stellina, the little star, joyfully dances in harmony with the cosmos. Guided by the movements of Yoga, she draws on the forces of the macrocosm (stellar structures). This is the first structure scientifically based on the staff that tells the story of the existential hourglass between heaven and earth, that is, the environment of Stellina.

STELLINA introduces its seven notes and seven colors, emphasizing that only together do they form a complete symphony.

Suddenly, Earth calls upon STELLINA, asking for a new sound, as a new birth is imminent. STELLINA descends from Heaven, passing through the Sun, the heart of the hourglass.
Upon landing on Earth, STELLINA is greeted by the Sea.

A heart, symbolizing the parents of the newborn, captures one of STELLINA’s seven sounds,         which will incarnate into a human being.

STELLINA leaves the sound behind and returns to Heaven, yet remains connected to the newborn.

As the story concludes, STELLINA encourages the new human being to seek resonant sounds throughout life, its own cosmic family, and not fear death, as it merely represents a return to the star of their origin.
